Tropical Food Machinery at “Africa on the Road 2026” – Dakar stop
Tropical Food Machinery took part in the initiative promoted by Italian Trade Agency Dakar in collaboration with the CIBUSTEC network, confirming its commitment to emerging markets.

The event was structured into two stages, from April 14 to 16, 2026. The first day took place in Dakar, at the Chambre de Commerce, d’Industrie et d’Agriculture de Dakar, in the presence of institutional representatives including the Italian Ambassador to Senegal H.E. Caterina Bertolini, the Director of ITA Dakar Alessandro Gerbino and the respective directors of the Chamber of Commerce and the Institut de Technologie Alimentaire de Dakar.
During the activities, Marco Borciani, in his role as TFM Ambassador, had the opportunity to present Tropical Food Machinery’s experience in the agro-food processing sector, receiving strong interest from both established players and emerging companies.
On the second day, the delegation moved to Saint-Louis, in northern Senegal, where the Italian companies had the opportunity to visit operational facilities across the region, gaining direct insight into local production dynamics.
These exchanges laid the groundwork for the development of new collaborations in Senegal, a Country characterized by strong growth potential and strategic importance for the West African region.
Participation in the initiative also represented an important opportunity for institutional dialogue, with meetings held in Dakar at the Italian Embassy and with the Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo, further strengthening the Company’s international positioning.
Within the collaboration with CIBUSTEC, the Dakar event sets the stage for the next edition of the CIBUSTEC 2026 exhibition, taking place in Parma from October 27th to 30th. Tropical Food Machinery will participate as an exhibitor, showcasing its solutions for food processing.

Tropical Food Machinery à “Africa on the Road 2026” – étape de Dakar
Tropical Food Machinery a participé à l’initiative promue par Italian Trade Agency Dakar en collaboration avec le réseau CIBUSTEC, confirmant ainsi son engagement sur les marchés émergents.
L’événement s’est articulé en deux étapes, du 14 au 16 avril 2026. La première journée s’est tenue à Dakar, auprès de la Chambre de Commerce, d’Industrie et d’Agriculture de Dakar, en présence de représentants institutionnels parmi lesquels l’Ambassadrice d’Italie au Sénégal S.E. Caterina Bertolini, le directeur de ITA Dakar Alessandro Gerbino, ainsi que les directeurs respectifs de la Chambre de Commerce et de l’Institut de Technologie Alimentaire de Dakar.
Au cours des activités, Marco Borciani, en son rôle de TFM Ambassador, a eu l’occasion de présenter l’expérience de Tropical Food Machinery dans le domaine de la transformation agroalimentaire, suscitant un vif intérêt tant de la part d’acteurs établis que de structures émergentes.
La deuxième journée a conduit la délégation à Saint-Louis, au nord du Sénégal, où les entreprises Italiennes ont eu l’opportunité de visiter des réalités opérationnelles sur le territoire, entrant en contact direct avec les dynamiques de production locales.
Ces échanges ont posé les bases du développement de nouvelles collaborations au Sénégal, un Pays caractérisé par un fort potentiel de croissance et une importance stratégique pour la région de l’Afrique de l’Ouest.
La participation à cette initiative a également représenté une importante occasion de dialogue institutionnel, avec des rencontres à Dakar à l’Ambassade d’Italie et avec l’Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo, renforçant davantage le positionnement international de l’entreprise.
Dans le cadre de la collaboration avec CIBUSTEC, l’événement de Dakar prépare la prochaine édition du salon, prévue à Parma du 27 au 30 octobre 2026. Tropical Food Machinery participera en tant qu’exposant, en présentant ses solutions pour la transformation agroalimentaire.
