TFD ARES: the new Evaporator from TFM-Farck

A new plant that allows high level of concentration with real energy saving.

From Tropical Food Machinery’s expertise in fruit processing, and from Farck’s know-how in the manufacturing of evaporation plants comes the new TFD ARES Evaporator, already running in South America.

TFM and Farck are showcasing this technology at the Cibus Tec 2026 trade fair in Parma. TFD ARES is a falling-film evaporator, ideal to reach a high level of concentration without compromising the organoleptic properties of the product. Plus, the cutting-edge TVR energy-saving system allows to cut steam consumption during the first step of the process.

The product is treated across six self-supporting evaporation modules, where the thermal energy from the vapour generated in every module is reused in further steps of evaporation. The TVR thermal compressor is added to this standard technology in order to exploit the vapour of the process also where the use of steam from the boiler is planned, reducing its consumption by up to 30%.

The use of TVR technology does not require increased reliance on alternative power sources, such as the electricity used in other concentration systems, making the resulting energy savings both real and tangible. It offers an ideal solution for those seeking top-quality end products while maintaining cost and consumption sustainability, which is a top priority in an era of high energy costs.
