Gulfood 2019

From 29 to 31 October, Tropical Food Machinery was in Dubai at Gulfood 2019, the world’s largest annual food and beverage trade exhibition, an event that attracted food and beverage industries and professionals from all over the planet.

At this year’s edition, the company offered a detailed peek at its wide range of multi-purpose technological solutions, starting from very low capacity like small size plants on skid or pilot plants or mobile plants that are easy to use and transport, upwards to huge size plants completely automatic and supervised by SCADA system and remote control.

Cibustec 2019

Late last October, Tropical Food Machinery attended Cibus Tec, among the most innovative food technology exhibitions and a complete showcase of the best solutions – from ingredients to processing technologies, from packaging to logistics – for all segments of the food and beverage industry.

At this year’s edition, the company unveiled to the experts two units for aseptic filling. The first plant, the EA 1C D Aseptic Filler, is a system suitable for the aseptic filling of liquids, semi-liquids, high viscosity products or products in cubes as well as products with different acidity in drums up to 220 liters. The second, Aseptic Filler EA 2C SB, is ideal for the treatment of whole-grain pulp, concentrated juices, and tomato sauce; for filling pre-sterilized aseptic bags of 3, 5, 10, 20 Liters. Both are highly specialized plants that allow the construction of the product’s processing cycle, guaranteeing compliance with FDA-certified safety parameters.

Aroma recovery unit

In recent years, the interest of the retailers, driven by the increasingly tasteful market demand, has headed towards the constant improvement of the organoleptic characteristics of their products. Waste reduction is also a growing focus.

This is why Tropical Food Machinery has developed and designed Aroma Recovery, an innovative and compact automatic device capable of extracting aromas and essences that would otherwise be lost by the flow of natural juice.

Macfrut 2019

Last May, Tropical Food Machinery took part to the 36th edition of Macfrut, the event organized by Cesena Fiera that is increasingly a go-to event for international fruit and vegetable professionals.

After last year’s successful participation – the first ever for the firm – the 2019 event saw the company doubling its presence by participating as both an exhibitor and a contributor in two scheduled round tables during the second edition of the Tropical Fruit Congress, a gathering on issues related to exotic fruits.
The undisputed protagonist of this year’s summit was pineapple, a tropical fruit of great interest to Tropical Food Machinery, given its decades-long experience linked in the field.
