The project is part of the Tomato Learning and Service Center (TLSC) programme, financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by UNIDO.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UNIDO<\/strong> is committed to projects in developing countries. The aim is to strengthen local economies by providing specialized training and enabling the production of market-ready finished goods. Specifically, the TLSC programme focuses on innovation, technical consultancy, and training initiatives in the field of tomato processing.<\/p>\n<p>The TFM plant consists of <strong>two multi-purpose production lines<\/strong> designed according to the requirements of the research institution. The first line is dedicated to receiving, peeling, and dicing, with a processing capacity of up to 500 kg\/h of infeed fresh tomatoes. The second line allows the formulation of tomato concentrate and packaging in jars, bottles, or cans.<\/p>\n<p>The plant will play a key role in specialists and technicians training, as well as in the research and development of innovative production processes. This project represents an important step in <strong>TFM\u2019s long-standing collaboration with universities and training institutions<\/strong>.
